MARRIAGE AND THE
TRINITY OF GOD’S UNIVERSAL CHURCH

Loving one another as Jesus loves us is the most important thing for a couple to express to each other; and duration of time, freedom, and equality are important for marriages to continue.  It is important not to defile a marriage by insincere promises.
Marriage contracts for life are often designed to enslave people because land and precious personal property were involved, and these conditions required a lifelong commitment.  However, it is better to have marriage contracts setup in specific durations of time according to the circumstances of the relationship. Some people truly know their heart and would find a lifetime of marriage not even enough either to pursue their ever increasing love.  God will even give them more memorable moments in Heaven to allow their love to blossom forever.  However, some people are not completely sure of a lifetime marriage relationship and often get entangled in an immoral unmarried relationship to discover if they have a sustaining mutual interest and affection for each other.  It is far better that they have a short-term marriage with no financial obligations to each other (a pre-nuptial agreement) than to live together in sin or stay in an unloving marriage.
A marriage contract is an agreement between a man and a woman to be together for a specific time period which has always been till death do us part.  This procedure has been determined usually by manmade laws.  In this Church, you have a choice of the marriage’s duration, which is decided in love and peace always.  A man and a woman desiring to be married for any duration must be at least eighteen-years-old (unless approved by the parents) and not subject to any other state or federal law restrictions.
Therefore, this Church has established a marriage contract (with a prenuptial agreement built in)\ that has a specific duration such as one month, one year, three years or even longer.  If the contract is not renewed mutually by the two people before the end of the contract period, then the marriage is automatically annulled.  Nothing else needs to be done.  There are no financial obligations on either party.  They take their own property with them and settle any joint property acquired in a loving way or through Church mediation.  If children are involved, the children will be given prime consideration; and this Church will mediate in the children’s behalf only if necessary to protect the children.  If the parents do not want to take responsibility for the children, this Church will care for them as long as they need loving care.  Also, there is premarital counseling in this Church which will determine to mutual agreement whether the couple should marry for life or choose a shorter duration. Sometimes it may be recommended that the couple choose progressive durations; in other words, start with one month and then one year proceeded by three or more years.  Remember that the marriage remains in effect as long as the contract is renewed before the period elapses.  Married couples could be building a solid marriage one or more years at a time.  In this way, marriages are less likely to lead to an abusive relationship; and couples agree to continue the marriage only because it is a loving relationship.

DOES MARRIAGE EXIST IN HEAVEN?

According to Matthew 22:30 KJV, it says, “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the Angels of God in Heaven.”  This passage clearly indicates that there is no marriage in Heaven like the kind during the time of Jesus Christ where a married woman could end up being the wife to more than one member of a family after each husband died.  Also, frequently families arranged the marriages, and the bride and groom had to marry out of duty to the family rather than love for each other. In other words, marriage was a contract between families, and a female was a commodity.  By referring to the condition of resurrected individuals as that of “the Angels of God in Heaven,” one should realize that resurrected individuals are not bound by previous earthly relationships.  Also, they are free to joyfully experience God’s Presence and the companionship of other souls in the full measure of Eternal Happiness.  Furthermore, the Angels are Beings of Light, and so the resurrected individuals are also Beings of Light with Glorified Bodies. Thus, when the Rapture occurs, the Glorified Body, which is composed of light energy like an Angel, becomes the dwelling place of each soul in Heaven and the faithful.  In the Glorified Body condition, the individual soul has the ability and is allowed to draw closer to another soul in a Glorified Body.  If both souls agree to a special union or marriage, then God shares in, presides over, and witnesses their Union. What greater blessing of God could two people share?  To use the word “marriage” or “union” is only a feeble attempt at describing this condition realized by two souls who freely choose this awesome experience in Heaven.
In conclusion, traditional marriage with procreation does not exist in Heaven. The symbolic marriage where two souls unite and become as one does exist in the New Heaven and the new earth.  Always remember that God wants everyone to be Eternally Happy, and He will provide the Eternal Conditions to insure your Eternal Happiness.  The Trinity of God is truly a Wonderful Loving Omniscient God who has all the answers to satisfy everyone completely and to make the Third Stage of Human Life the Best Experience, lasting Forever.
